This isn’t your average extension class—it’s a complete breakdown of everything you need to build confidence and mastery behind the chair. Designed for stylists who are ready to elevate their craft, this six-hour course covers the fundamentals of two of today’s most in-demand methods: Genius Wefts and K-Tips.

You’ll learn:

  • Consultation mastery – how to properly evaluate client needs, lifestyle, and hair health.

  • Installation foundations – the exact placement, sectioning, and technique breakdown for seamless results.

  • Maintenance & troubleshooting – keeping your work looking flawless between appointments and solving common problems before they happen.

  • Safe removals – protecting your client’s natural hair while removing extensions efficiently.

  • Custom blending & finishing – tips for cutting, coloring, and styling extensions so they look natural and camera-ready.

  • Profit margins & pricing strategies – how to confidently price your services, understand your costs, and maximize your income with extensions.

Class Details:

  • Time: 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM (6 hours total, with a 30-minute lunch break)

  • Location: TBD (Tentatively Mermaid Labs, Manasquan, NJ)

Tuition Options: (Can’t Make this class? No worries! Check out our other options!)

  • $550 – Mermaid Labs Salon (Manasquan, NJ) or within 1 hour travel.

  • $650 per person – Long-distance travel within New Jersey (beyond 1-hour radius).

  • Out-of-State Classes – Minimum of 5 students, $650 per person.

  • Private One-on-One Course (with Tool Kit):
    • $800 – Local salons/stylists (within 1 hour of the salon).
    • $1,000 – Out-of-state travel.

Tuition includes live demonstration, hands-on training, interactive Q&A, and take-home resources you can put to work immediately. Private students will also receive a professional tool kit to jumpstart their extension journey.
